Maria Campos, at 37, has made remarkable strides in systems engineering.

She began her career as an intern at ESD, now part of Stantec, and has risen to become the Automation Discipline Lead for the entire Buildings practice globally within 14 years.

Key Accomplishments

  • Technical authority for a team of 16 engineers
  • Certified as a Data Center Infrastructure Expert
  • Key projects include the Navistar campus and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab in Chicago

Extracurricular Involvement

Maria is an active member of the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating & Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE) and has served on the board of its Illinois chapter.

She also mentors students as a robotics coach and teaches modeling software and power tools usage.

Chris Deal: Champion of Renewable Energy

Chris Deal, aged 39, has a diverse educational background with degrees in Mechanical Engineering, Renewable Energy, and Education.

He has guided over $1 billion worth of projects across various sectors, including universities, schools, and hospitals.

Bethany Hahn: Driving Diversity in HR

Bethany Hahn, at 39, has significantly impacted Apex’s growth, overseeing a 535% increase in headcount and a 1000% rise in sales.

Her leadership in HR has been pivotal in driving diversity initiatives within the company.

He is one of the youngest members to be promoted to Associate.

Stephen Reichwein, aged 39, has led some of the most complex structural engineering projects, including the Sphere at The Venetian in Las Vegas and the Madison Square Garden Transformation.

Stephen is a Co-Chair of the Programs Committee for the Structural Engineering Association of New York and a guest lecturer at Penn State College of Engineering.

Brandon Rich: Advocate for Urban Development

Brandon Rich, at 39, has been recognized for his work on urban open spaces and sustainable design.

He has received numerous awards, including the Honor Award in Engineering Excellence from ACEC Nebraska.

  • Guest lecturer and mentor at the University of Nebraska

Brandon volunteers for numerous organizations, including Habitat for Humanity and the Miss America Scholarship.

Mackenzie Roach: Fire Protection Engineering Expert

Mackenzie Roach, aged 36, has played a vital role in fire safety and resilience.

She has worked on significant projects like the children’s museum in El Paso and the Samuel Oschin Air and Space Center in Los Angeles.

Mackenzie is involved in the Society of Fire Protection Engineers and Arup’s Connect Women Employee Resource Group.

Melissa Shea: Leader in Structural Engineering

Melissa Shea, at 39, has been a driving force in structural engineering, co-founding Walter P Moore’s Women in Engineering Group-Northeast and expanding her team significantly over the past decade.
